If i install esotalk www.mysite.com/esotalk then plugin works fine. If the root path is in www.mysite.com then nothing works.

Could you provide more information? What exactly seems to be broken? Please, check out your callback url in your social application settings.

For example, for facebook it should be http://mysite.com/user/social/facebook

Do you have mod_rewrite enabled on your server? If yes, try this. 'index.php' appears because of misconfigured htaccess or disabled mod_rewrite.

Could you describe what happens when you click on login button? Expected steps:
1. Click on any login button (for example google)
2. Redirect to you google account page with auth confirmation
3. Click 'confirm'
4. Redirect back to forum and log in

I think I found your problem. Go to your facebook application, then navigate to "Status & Review" section and make your application public
