File names in tabs aren't updated after changing file name

I opened 4 icons at the same time by selecting them in the finder after hitting Cmd + O. I then renamed the files in a separate finder window while looking at the svg icons in Gapplin. I noticed that the file names in the tabs weren't updated automatically after I changed the svg file name so I closed all of the tabs and reopened the same four renamed svg files. After opening up the files the tabs still had the original svg file names, not the newer updated file names. I even closed the app and reopened it just to make sure.
