Does not open SVGs selected in Finder

My understanding is that I should be able to select an SVG in Finder and then click Gapplin in the Dock (or if added to the Finder toolbar) to open the SVG.

But nothing happens. The only way is to select an SVG, right click and then choose (Open with Gapplin). Which means I might as well stick with built-in Quicklook.

If I select an image in Finder and press spacebar, the resulting Quicklook window has an “Open with Gapplin” button. But I would naturally set that to my default editor.

Would be a good app if it worked correctly, or am I missing something?
