Improve Simultaneous Editing Support

It is proposed that something be done to prevent editors making unrelated changes from overwriting each other when collaborating on a large trial. For example, if A starts editing frames 100-200, person B opens the trial to edit frames 600-700, A saves, and then B saves, A's changes will be overridden.
The exact form of this added support is unknown and should be discussed and improved before implementing.
