Sign up error : e-mail address cannot contain dots ....

Whenever one attempts to set up a new account, one receives the message that the email address cannot contain a + or . (dot) sign.

Because they have been used to bypass the limit of accounts per single email. They can be omitted without an issue (at least with gmail).

So exactly how can i create an account? i have tried everything, if i do it with dots in my gmail account, it says dont use dots, if i dont use dots it says invalid email

Restriction of . not being allowed in emails was removed, so should be able to register now.
