Disk fail reset xbox

Hi there,

I'm not sure this is an application issue or a xkey.cfg issue, but nonetheless I hope you can solve this. I have a Xbox phat and have DVDMENU=Y in the .cfg file. The games directory is in lower case and all the updates using the XKey Brew software went perfect. The entire library within the games directory looks good.

After update completed and trying to start it after the Xbox starts up, I click Play Game and then my Xkey remote says Disk Fail Reset Xbox.

Any clue what is causing this and how I can fix it?

XKeyBrew just helps you create a dvd-menu that will be used by the xkey. This error is not related to XKeyBrew itself and seems more related to an xkey installation problem or an hdd problem.

I have never got this error before so I can't really help you here.. Though first thing I would make sure is that the latest xkey firmware version is correctly installed. Don't know why you said so but XKeyBrew does not perform any updates for you, so just download the latest version on the xkey website and follow the steps in the readme file.

And finally I'm sure that google will be of better help than I am, good luck ;-)
