Issue #28 open

Why is it necessary to display multiple games? It is needed for those who modify games like GTA IV and have multiple copies of the game with different modifications on it.

An option should be added to the options menu to allow duplicates. A renaming feature would also be nice.

Also, I would like to point out that when the program displays what ISO files it is loading in the corner during boot, it will display that it loaded the second/third/fourth/etc copy of the same game. However, when in the checklist of games, it will not display more than one of them. You can not search for the other copies either.

Not just for modding, but games (I know this is bad example since you're gonna think you only need multiple GTA's for modding), but Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto Episodes From Liberty City (2 completely different games) are both included as GTA IV, thus only one shows up. This also applies to Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare.

You are talking about the #25 (duplicate iso), this one is different.
Duplicate iso -> they have the same titleId (same game core) but different mediaId
Modded iso -> they are completely identical (same titleId and mediaId)

So, will duplicate ISOs be permitted in the next update? I don't know if you're trying to make the program dumb-proof, but I'm fairly certain that users aren't going to accidentally have duplicate ISOs. We that purposely have more than one of the same game would love for the program to be able to know that we want them.

@TBAAwakened I have built that program to make xkey dvd-menu available to everyone (mac, win, linux, and not only win users) + trying to make it more user friendly + offer more features. I honestly don't think that the percentage of people using modded game are that important. But don't get me wrong, I'm not stupid and I have understood the needs here. In fact, as you can see it's planned as an enhancement (otherwise I would have mark it as wontfix). So yes it will be permitted in the next update.
