Ubuntu 16

Issue #16 resolved
Steve Andrews created an issue

Thank you for your work. I have a functioning mail server with a Roundcube web mail interface running on Ubuntu 16 server. I tried to install your plug in and it failed. I looked at mysql.initial.sql and it appears that CHECK is not supported in mysql. I think you used it to check that the port number is valid. I removed it from the script and the script created the table. I am unable to save the information that I enter into the identity in Roundcube. it appears as thought there is no user name in the login to the database. I would love to have your plug in work and I'm willing to do whatever I can to help but I only know enough to be dangerous. Thanks

Thanx for reporting. I will check about CHECK in MySQL. :)

Can you explain about user name and login.

Thanks for your reply. When I try to save a record I create inside the ident_switch plug in the entry is not saved because no user name or password is passed to the database. I must be missing where I can enter the user credentials so the plug in can authenticate with the database.

Roundcube works. I can send and receive mail. I also have two other plug ins that work. I can manipulate the ident_switch table as user roundecube. I installed your plug in using compose.json from the roundcube root directory. Other than the problem with CHECK everything seemed to install okay. MySql server.log shows error [Note] Access denied for user ''@'localhost' (using password: NO) when I try to add an identity. The plugin says it was successfully saved. Did I miss a step somewhere?
