New releases do not appear in plugins.roundcube.net

Issue #52 resolved
Mathieu Brunot created an issue

Hi,

The latest release is 4.2 from 2019-11-24 but https://plugins.roundcube.net/packages/boressoft/ident_switch still show the latest to be 4.0.1 from 2019-02-03.
This prevents install of latest with composer.

Any news when the new version will be available within the roundcube plugin repository. I want to try this new version because my idents are no longer able to send mail.

I am running in the “SMTP Error: Authentication failure: Invalid response code received from server (Code: 535)” error.

It’s an issue with plugin repository. Send a message to owner, waiting for response.

If nothing will change in the near future, have to migrate to github.

Sent a message to Bitbucket support too. Still no reply from Roundcube team.

I’m a bit tired of this issue. Looks like migration to Github is the best solution. Hope they will not block accounts from Russia.

Thomas Bruederli from Roundcube core team has finally updated composer in plugins website to work with latest Bitbucket updates. You can update to latest version of ident_switch. It takes about TWO MONTH to just update composer on a single server of Roundcube project. Thats why open sourse software will never replce commercial on business critical applications.

    These is still an issue.

After changing the composer.json with the updated version I receive the following error:

    user@host:~/path$ php composer.phar update --no-dev
Loading composer repositories with package information
    Updating dependencies
Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages.

    Problem 1
    - The requested package boressoft/ident_switch ~4.2 exists as boressoft/ident_switch[0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.3.1, 3.4, 4.0, 4.0.1, dev-master] but these are rejected by your constraint.

Running update with --no-dev does not mean require-dev is ignored, it just means the packages will not be installed. If dev requirements are blocking the update you have to resolve those problems.
