ident_switch isn't changing the identities signature.

Issue #57 new
kiruna created an issue

With my current setup the signature isn’t changed when switching to another identity with ident_switch.

I am using Roundcube 1.4.2 and ident_switch 4.2 via github (because this version is still not available via the plugin repository)

For every identity it is possible to configure its own signature when using the ident_switch plugin this no longer functions. When one switches to another identity without using the plugin this works fine.

Beste regards

Is there any news regarding this issue?

I just updated to roundcube 1.4.4 and ident_switch 4.2 and the issue is still there.

    Best regards.

    Good evening Boris,

I just checked this and it isn’t working.

    Maybe some extra information:

My main ident has a signature and also all the other idents have a different signature.

When I switch from the main ident to one of the others the main ident signature is shown and not the corresponding signature belonging to the selected ident.

Some time ago this was working fine but not anymore.

I’ve tried it myself this way:

    1. Set signature for main identity
    2. Set signature for secondary identity
    3. Create message from secondary identity - signature as expected.
    4. Switched back to main identity.
    5. Created new message - signature es expected.

Is your case different from this one?

No it is not, apart from the fact that it keeps showing the main identities signature.

This evening I upgraded to RC 1.4.5 and ident_switch 4.3.1. After that, I did some more testing.

    One thing that is interesting:

When I select the second identity and compose an email, it starts with the signature from the main identity when I click the signature button it inserts the signature that belongs to the current identity (so the second)

Strange, is there a way to debug this?
