Having to Reset Cookies/Cache after every roll

Issue #6 resolved
Former user created an issue

Hi there!

I saw there was a (resolved) issue with the dice-roller becoming blocked and unusable and saw that there was a temporary fix by reseting the cookies/cache to roll again. I have to do this consistently after every roll - is there something more I can do to fix this issue, or is there a fix coming out for it? I was playing with other friends using this dice-roller and I was the only one having the issues. I have a MacBook Air and it was happening on my iPhone 7 as well.

Thank you!

Hi there, thank you for reporting this (and for using my roller :) ) It's odd that you are experiencing this issue still. My temporary fix should only store the most recent roll which should not go over the browser limit unless you are rolling and extreme amount of dice. What browser are you using? If possible could you copy the contents of your cookies for the dice roller site into the issue?

Sorry for the long delay in response! I have used Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox - all of them giving the same message above. Even while only rolling a single dice this comes up. I am unsure of how to copy cookies from a website, I am not overly familiar with this kind of thing. :(

I've made some changes to the roller that hopefully can fix your problems. Also, I added a button in the orange text part, (where I hope to show a roll log at some point) to clear the dice roll cookie.
