The "above the line" voting system used in Australian Senate elections means it's possible for a political party to choose preferences for you, and you might not know, or like, their decisions. is a project to visualise preference flows in Australian elections.

It uses a force-directed graph created by the d3.js Javascript library to show how closely connected the various political parties are.

The results can be seen at the web site.
