RPM noarch packaging for NxFilter releases.
- Version 188.8.131.52
- Requires: java-headless
If RPM installed with yum locally, i.e.
yum localinstall nxfilter-xxx.rpm, then java dependency should be met by the yum package manager automatically.
--To bypass GPG check,
yum --nogpgcheck localinstall nxfilter-xxxx.rpm, should work without having to import my GPG key. To import the key,
rpm --import RPM-GPG-KEY-nxfilter
RPM installs NxFilter files to non-standard location of /nxfilter and enables system services(/etc/systemd/system/nxfilter.service) by default.
--This is not a standard practice for 3rd party RPM packages but strives to make installation of NxFilter as simple as possible for RPM based distros.
RPM also creates an Upstart configuration file(/etc/init/nxfilter.conf) to support older distros that do not use systemd.
