Black Screen after initial loading

(possibly related to my previous bug, "Nonresponsive buttons in Combat")

I start up the game, it loads in after the logos and then the screen goes black. Music keeps playing though.

This now happens every time I try to restart the game. I need to forcibly shut it down and restart it, same effect.

This happened two or three times and then everything went back to normal.

Actually, no. The next time I got as far as the main menu, clicked "continue" and had a black screen with music again.

starting a new game then fixed the issue.

Weird. Can you attach a log file the next time this appears?
