Is the obstacle from convenient cover a unit?

The spawned obstacle from "Convenient Cover" has been considered a unit and was effected by an area effect targeting all units on one side of the field, the effect didn't target the other obstacles on that side of the field.

Hm. Can't find a source for this kind of error and can't seem to replicate it either. I suspect that it may be caused by the second card, not the obstacle itself. Do you remember which card was played that erroneously targeted the obstacle?
