Make Combo Material not there in v1.6.1

I hope I didn’t miss something entirely, but this new function is very interesting to me and I updated to 1.6.1 to have it, but I can’t find it there.

At least with recent beta, I can find Combo material menu. So these new options basically added for beta = this repositories version. is not there link for recent beta in Thomas blog? I do not remember.

Anyway You can download repository, then get recent beta and check it. (or set up git if you like to up-date whenever you need)

Combo materials were introduced around version 1.6.2.1023. As engetudouiti said, you need to update to the latest development build.

Thank you very much for your answers. I’m a noob and could not find anywhere where it was mentioned which version it was introduced in. I’ve downloaded the beta version but I’m getting an error when installing (OS Error: No such device or address). Am I doing something wrong?

And since it’s likely to come up again: is there any place I can ask for help/ask the stupid questions other than opening issues here?
