MHX conversion and toes stretch issue (MHX 1.6.1.0058)

Issue #1108 resolved
Abby Sciuto created an issue

It would appear as though models imported prior to updating to the latest version of MHX have their issues when converting to MHX, so far I’ve only noticed one issue with the toes, it seems as though the foot is offset forward after conversion, turning on stretchiness seems to workaround the problem, but having stretchiness on isn’t ideal (at least in my opinion as it can cause me overextend limbs unintentionally, I like the limit unless I know I can move something further) and it doesn’t really fix the problem at hand either. As soon as Stretch is dialled up to 1.0 on either foot, the issue goes away and normality is restored, but if you dial it back down to 0, it immediately returns.

I’ve just noted however that if I convert to MHX on some other characters, more recent than the one with the issue but existed before the latest iterations of MHX, they seem convert perfectly fine, so whatever is going on, it seems to be based around a certain time frame of imported rig.

Alright, lesson learned on my end, check your parenting, there were a few bones parented to (drv) bones that I swapped out to the correct ones and everything’s working as intended now, not entirely sure why they were parented to (drv) bones but whatever, easy enough thing to sort out.
