Bad IK almost everywhere in DAZ rig
I’m trying to use the simple IK with the default G8.1 on the default daz rig but I found the IK is working only on the right hand. Left hand has a big problem, but the major problem is with the sliding on both feet. They simply not remain in place when you move the hip bone, so cannot use at all. I think if we can solve this, and then continue with a little more improvements, maybe there’s no need to struggle with MHX anymore

reporter Thank you, hands are better now. But the sliding feet continues, any way to fix that? It happens when you try to move the hip, hands remain in place, but the feet don’t.
And is it possible to add a mirror bone option? the X mirror blender function is not helping
Thank you for all your effort

#1144. This is the same as 1144, that is, with mhx/rigify the jcms don’t work as intended because of the different bones/rest pose. With simple ik the jcms work fine but there’s “jittering” feet. - Log in to comment
I had only tried the simple rig without jcms before, and then it worked. But when jcms were loaded there were lots of warnings about dependency loops in the terminal window. The warnings went away when I changed the properties that control IK from armature properties to object properties, so now things work.
Snapping from FK to IK is not perfect, and I don’t think that there is enough info to snap perfectly in that direction. If you need to interpolate between FK and IK it is thus best first to snap to IK, and then snap back to FK before trying intermediate values.
