legs break when using rigify
every time i import a (male) character and create the rigify rig, the legs bend like this, in the female characters the legs also turn inwards but not too much like the male character

reporter oh is it the only way? if i want to keep the daz pose, would i have to move the knee bones and then convert it to rigify?
-
You may try to tuse the ik fix in the rigify panel, it keeps the daz rest pose but doesn’t always work depending on the figure. So you may have to use the “pose for ik“ as suggested by Thomas that always works fine. Or you can try to move the bones yourself in edit mode, but of course this will modify the rest pose as well.
note. This is not a bug in diffeomorphic but a limit in rigify. You can keep the daz rest pose with mhx.

reporter oh thanks i am surprised because i did not have this problem in blender 3.0, when i upgraded to 3.2 this problem started

They changed rigify in 3.1 see
#952. The solution to most rigify issues is to “pose for ik”. -
- changed status to invalid
not a bug, it's a known rigify limitation

The rest pose of the daz rig is badly suited for rigify. Do Optimize Pose For IK and Apply Rest Pose before converting to rigify, and the problem should be gone.
