Auo Morph Armature and Export

I’m trying to find a way to export animations with the armature morph animation to get it into Marvellous Designer. FBX doesn’t work and crashes when I select the rig last, alembic doesn’t work because it ignores the rig and only exports the mesh and since I can’t bake armature morphs it doesn’t get considered. Cache export like MDD and PC2 don’t let me select the rig last. There’s a function in the daz importer UI to convert a animation into shapekeys but this also requires me to select the mesh. So far the only possible solution I found is creating every single frame with adjusted rig as a shapekey and afterwards morph it frame by frame which is a lot of work. Maybe there’s a better solution but if not, would it be possible to implement some more or less automated process for the work around I mentioned?

    It is not possible to export a morphing armature if this is what you mean. And I doubt that MD would support it anyway, afaik the only application with morphing armatures is daz studio. Even blender doesn’t support it, Thomas is using a trick entering edit mode at every frame.
