import pose issues with rigify

daz studio 4.15.0.30, blender 3.3.0, diffeomorphic 1.6.2.1211

This is reported in the daz forum and I can reproduce the issue. It seems there are troubles with the neck pose when importing poses to rigify. I played around with the rigify options but couldn’t avoid the issue.

Both the daz rig and mhx work fine, this issue is limited to rigify.

steps:

  1. import G81F, merge rigs, make all bones posable
  2. convert to rigify
  3. import the base pose sitting C

Below there’s the result, the daz rig vs the rigify rig, we see that the neck in rigify is not correct.

    Should work now. There were some rigify settings that apparently were wrong, plus the upper neck was ignored completely.

    Commit 390d0a9 works great. I’ll leave this open if Andrea has something to add, then I’ll mark as resolved.
