Converting to MHX breaking clothing with sleeves and leggings

I am having an issue where I have a model with clothing. Using the standard rig I am able to pose the model and the clothing follows.
When I do an MHX conversion, the clothing sleeves and leggings seem to break (they don’t follow correctly)
Is this a known issue? Has anyone seen this before? I was using an older version of diffeo 1.6.2, but I updated to 1.6.2.1220 and tried again and I am still having this issue.

The vertex groups have not been renamed to the mhx names. The plugin renames vertex groups of all meshes that are children of the armature, but if you have unparented some meshes they will be missed. That is arguably not the right behaviour, but you can fix it by parenting the clothes to the armature before converting to mhx. If the clothes are not children of the armature object transformations will not work correctly either.
