Apply subdivision surface with shapekeys
Hi!
So i was looking on the internet searching for a script to apply subdivsion to my genesis 9 character without loosing shapekeys and i found this script!
i dont know if it’s possible to add it the official plugin, but that would be a MUST love function, because you’ll have a ready mesh to export everywhere!

reporter wow i didnt know that it already exist! two years in depth testing the plugin and i still miss a lot of things.
so i tested it, with GENESIS 9 i want to cry! it works PERFECTLY good.
i transferred the mesh from blender to unity and unreal engine ( both) without any problems, with all the shapekeys working and with subdivision applied! it’s just unbelievable for something not tested since a long time!
i think for me no need to use XIN plugin for G9 HD mesh ready, i will just use this.
however the only issue was it took like 2 hours i was expecting a crash or something but no worked perfectly so it was worth the wait.
anyway i will do some more in-depth test with other figures for this feature.

There is a button called Apply Subsurf in the Advanced > Mesh section. But I haven’t tested it for a long time and am not sure it still works.
