G9 Softbody

I received an error when trying to use Softbody on a Genesis9 character today and am guessing from the message it hasn’t been implemented yet.
Is Genesis9 going to be able to use Softbody at some point soon do you think, or will we have to stick to G8 for the foreseeable future?

@Alessandro Padovani I appreciate the speedy response, and fair enough, I have just found myself using G9 more often so thought I would ask.
I don’t want to spam this ticket, but quickly, what is it about G9 you don’t like, I thought it was supposed to be better in basically every way over 8.1 (at least for realistic proportions and details). I’ve thought it was pretty decent (but I am a hobby user so there could be a lot wrong with it)

G9 is HD based so it doesn’t fit for blender or any 3d platform other than daz studio. In general with G9 we are forced to use the HD exporter, and eventually use the Xin addon for HD morphs. I tend to avoid HD figures thus G9 as well.

It is as it says, softbody is implemented for G8 only and actually considered “experimental“. We could support other generations as G1 G2 G3 G9, as well as common geografts as futalicious and breastacular for example, but it would require to add the templates for them.
This can be a feature request though, but I believe we have more urgent issues, plus personally I don't like G9 so I’m less motivated to support it. But eventually will see what I can do for a G9 softbody template. Or of course anyone can contribute by following the guidelines in
#828
