"Scanned morphs for Genesis8Female do not exist"

Issue #1417 invalid
Gabriel created an issue

I’m trying to import an animation from Daz to Blender but every time I try to do so, I get “ERROR (1.6.2.1277)” along with the text that’s in the title of this post.

The animation was an aniblock that I changed into keyframes, saved as a pose preset, and then exported to Blender. I then easy imported my character, and then tried to import the action. I’m certain I followed the instructions completely. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thank you!

Disable the Used Scanned Database option. This is the default in the development version, but this option was enabled by default some time ago. The reason for the change was exactly to avoid that unsuspecting users get this error.

If your animation does not contain morphs, you can disable Affect Morphs, which hides all the morph-related options.

Information about the scanned morph database and how to use it is described in https://diffeomorphic.blogspot.com/2022/08/import-morph-and-scanned-morph-database.html.

You have to uncheck “use scanned database“ in import action. Also you better update to 1.7 for more bug fixes.

If there’s nothing to add please close as invalid.
