White shader "imprint" when importing a specific character / import works with the daz to blender bridge
I’m fairly new to all this but I’m happy to provide more details as requested.
Daz character is Vera V2 with a gen_mat if that helps
Other characters import without issues

reporter Ah thank you, I’d say we are halfway there after the update!
New error/problem was thrown : Unsupported AoA_Subsurface

As the error message tells you, the 3delight shaders are unsupported. You can convert to uber in daz studio before exporting. Select all the surfaces then apply the uber shader.
shader presets > iray > daz uber > iray uber base
About the hair the error tells you that multires can’t work with that particular geometry. It can happen and it’s a multires limitation.
If there’s nothing to add please close as invalid.

reporter Thank you for that!

reporter Darn, I tried multiple times now and the !Iray Uber Base does not seem to be solving the issue. I know I’m selecting the surfaces correctly because if I try any of the other shader presets they make the correct changes. But back in blender I’m still getting the gray shader as above.

The uber conversion will work in blender the same as it works in daz studio, so it may be good or not since uber can’t convert all the 3delight shaders, but usually the result is acceptable. In daz studio be sure you get the uber shader for all the surfaces, you can see the shader name in the surface tab.
Then the figure may use a shell, in that case shells need to be converted to uber too.

Please update to the dev version and do a clean install.
Then if it still doesn’t work please provide exact steps and a test scene in duf format as simple as possible. Also provide the links to the product pages of the assets you’re using.
