Geograft and very close fitting underwear
I have noticed that if I import a G9 female character with genital geograft and then apply close fitting underwear that shows the genital shape (think cameltoe) in Daz, when bringing it across to Blender everything works well except the underewear is no longer fitting correctly.
The genitals push through the underwear and that nice “cameltoe” seam is gone.
I go into Geometry mode before exporting to Blender so the geograft works correctly, but cannot seem to get my underwear shape to remain correct.
Is this possible or is this a limitation of the merging of the geograft in Blener?

It is possible with higher mesh density of clothes and if you use shrinkwrap modifier set to “outside”. You may adjust sometimes a bit manually by sculpting a bit but it works.

reporter Thank you both for the responses, I will try the shrink wrap way.
One question though, @Alessandro Padovani , you mention I can’t enter the geometry editor, but isn’t that the only way to have the geograft come across and be able to merge with HD meshes like G9?

Yes.

reporter @Alessandro Padovani , sorry if this sounds really daft me asking, but now I am confused.
You said “Yes” above, that the only way for the geograft to work on G9 is to export with Geometry Editor on (which I have always done)… but… your original answer mentioned “in this case you need to turn on the “interactive update” for it to be exported, but you can’t enter the geometry editor.”
Aren’t they mutually exlusive? Does that mean to have the “interactive update” applied and as such the “tight fitting” underwear, I cannot enter Geometry Editor, but I need to to be able to merge the genital geograft.
Sorry if it seems really stupid question, but that has confused me some.
Thanks for you taking the time to answer my question :)

Yes they are mutually exclusive, meaning if you enter the geometry editor then you lose the smoothing modifier in daz studio, as you can test yourself. But you can export HD then use shrinkwrap in blender.

reporter Got it, thanks so much for your patience. I understand what you were describing now, shame we cannot have both but I will give the shrink wrap way a try.
Thanks again.

It is likely that a smooth modifier is used in daz studio, in this case you need to turn on the “interactive update” for it to be exported, but you can’t enter the geometry editor.
Otherwise you can use shrinkwrap in blender to get the same effect. See
