Can't import character, says that "it's missing UVs"

Doesn’t make any sense since it happens with a fresh G8F figure. Only noticed now after installing the new Diffeomorphic patch few days ago.

Works fine here. Be sure to clean install. If you use daz connect be sure to update the folders in the global settings. But it is better to avoid connect if you can, it can give troubles in daz studio itself.

Also you may try with a clean daz studio library, don’t need to delete anything just switch to a new content folder in the daz studio settings. This way you can check if there’s something wrong in the mapped folders. Of course we assume that daz studio works fine otherwise fix that first.

I noticed that it was because a geograft was missing the textures which needed to be first applied in Daz. After I did that, it sorted itself out.
