mhx tweak bones ?

Issue #1585 resolved

I don’t use tweak bones myself so I’m not sure of this. But it is reported in the daz forum that the tweak bones for the knees are missing. I guess it’s missing for shins too.

steps:

  1. import g8f
  2. convert to mhx with tweak bones

Also I may point out that “fix elbows and knees“ is not necessary. That is, we either use “improve ik“ or “fix elbows“ not both. Since “improve ik“ is better for daz poses then “fix elbows“ can be removed. Unless I miss something.

The shin tweak bones have been restored. They disappeared when the split shin was removed. Rigify splits the shin into bend and twist bones, and mhx used to do that too, but it was removed since the daz rigs don’t. Note that there is only one tweak bone at the knee, and not a second one at the middle of the shin, because there is only one shin vertex group.

The fix option moves the elbow and knee locations slightly to improve ik. Mhx has done that since the beginning, but recently I found that it doesn’t work well with prebended rigs. It does improve things for rigs in the default orientation, so that’s why I made it an option.
