Disable/Enable drivers works for clothes but not for body.

Issue #1649 invalid
Calibrator created an issue

1.7.1 , Blender 3.6

I did nothing out of the ordinary. I had the exact same port with only 1 difference. The face rig was missing from it cause I forgot to add it. Now re doing it, the body won’t disable or enable morphs while the clothes do.

Edit: To add to this, on this specific blend file if I select a clothing item and press “disable drivers” in “daz runtime” nothing happens. I have to select the rig, press disable drivers which will disable clothes only, then manually disable them on the body.

Your description is quite confused. You may want to describe the exact steps to reproduce the issue.

I it opened today and it works just fine. As I was writing a response I wanted to go through the 3 blend files I was talking about to make sure I got it right and boom. They all work, when yesterday only 2 of 3 worked. The only thing different was a linux update.

Also it’s not like I tried once and created the issue. I was working on that blend file for over 5 hours yesterday, using another addon to disable the morphs after disabling the drivers. I must have done it 20 times. There’s no mistake and no confusion on my end that it absolutely didn’t work on the body.

Here’s what I did if you still need it. I’m gonna take this win and get back to work.

Export from Daz, Import in blender without favorite morphs. Load favorite morphs (because diffeo likes to select an older json on easy import and Im too lazy to change the name), transfer to grafts, import graft morphs, merge grafts, transfer to eyelashes, hair, clothes whatever. Open in Linux, start fixing random issues, adding features, suddenly I need to transfer shapekeys to something again and I notice that turning drivers on and off doesn’t do anything for the body. The only difference between this port and the port before from the same char is that the port before had no face controls but enabling and disabling drivers works for the body. The first port I did with 1.7.1 also had a face rig and worked fine.

I think Thomas needs to confirm that since he knows what’s being used on Linux, I can find the logs for 16-07-2023 if he needs them. The chance that it was fixed by a Linux update is minuscule, considering it worked on other chars before the update. Also I do believe that it’s a bug and that it was fixed by a restart of Blender or the PC instead, but I would appreciate if Thomas can take a look at this situation and come to his own conclusion.
