Possible issues for latest diff rig changes for 4.0 and beyond.

To the Diff Team,

Just a heads up, I know we talked about “Beta” builds in Blender last month and waiting until Master hits, but Blender 4.0 is making a ton of changes for armatures and I’m just curious if it may be wise to get a heads start on diff compatibility this time. I’m already getting faults where a characters won't load, which seems to be from rig incompatibility. I’m also finding some of my older, already imported DAZ characters, have broken rigs when trying to load into Blender 4.0

I noticed @Thomas Larsson is doing a lot of rig changes lately, for the better :), and my concern is that these will further make the diff add-on incompatible with Blender 4.0 (?)

    We are aware that 4.0 is coming thank you. Unless you have specific suggestions of things to fix and possibly how to fix them. Or specific reports of things which don't work with exact steps. Furthermore it is too soon to work in 4.0 because it is in alpha and the API is not stable yet, they could change anything.

    So if there's nothing to add we can close as invalid. Then open specific bug reports for 4.0 beta, that will be better manageable.

    I started one a few weeks ago with the Blender callback logs on why stuff wasn’t loading. It was immidialaty closed.

    Now, beyond characters not loading, previous rigged diff characters are breaking in 4.0. As I said above, Thomas is doing a lot of armature work lately and I just don’t want that to be in vain. So I’m giving a heads up that more things are starting to break in 4.0
