High resolution morphs
Since shape keys can only be stored for the base mesh, is there any other way to sculpt at higher resolutions and store it, it doesn’t have to be a shape key, just something I can turn on and off.

reporter Sorry but I’m getting lost on how to use Xin’s addon, is there a video tutorial I can follow?
-
Nope, as I know it there’s only the user guide included in the distribution package. For doubts ask Xin at
#1399.If there’s nothing to add we can close as invalid.

reporter Ok. Last doubt after using Xin’s addon to generate the true HD mesh, will I be able to control the morphs for the HD mesh using the daz importer tool, or do I have to control it directly from the blender shape key menu?

Don’t know, but you can always add shapekeys to category if it doesn’t. Again for questions you better ask Xin at
#1399.https://bitbucket.org/Diffeomorphic/import_daz/wiki/Advanced/Morphs/Add Shapekey To Category

The only way is to use a true HD mesh, this is possible with the Xin addon
#1399. To some extent it should also be possible with diffeomorphic, since it seems there’s the option in the global settings, but I never used it. Of course true HD will be extremely heavy for animation, but it may be good for single shots.p.s. iirc with diffeomorphic true HD doesn’t work for geografts.
