Dear Thomas Alessandro

Daz to UE was a bit bad,Even the latest version。There are too many things that need to be repaired。

Will there be plans in the future?

    UE is not good for daz figures, because it doesn’t support dual quaternion so deformations are bad, also materials are limited compared to cycles and eevee. But I know of people using diffeomorphic to export to UE, basically they export the models/animations as fbx then adjust the materials in UE. Then blender 4 exports better to USD so omniverse could be used easily this way.

    That said, personally I prefer eevee for real-time rendering.

    Short answer: No.

    I started on this project because I wanted to use DAZ figures in Blender. UE is not interesting for me because I don’t use it.

    Hi Thomas, not that I wanted to make too much noise since Alessandro is the only one who can open people's reports.

    And I saw that you were doing changes and fixes recently and I was wondering if you could please look at the report I made? I think one of the addon functions stopped working properly (Shapekey Mute Drivers) apologies for reporting it here.

    I see. You have to disable the global setting “Optimize JCM Drivers”, otherwise the property that drives muting is optimized away. That should not happen.

    I also don’t use blender but i use Diffeomorphic for UE, having absolutely no problem. MHX rigs works perfect in UE.

    Rig is just a minor issue, the main issue is the material. Just a custom material for stockings has been tormenting me for a long time, and I haven't even found where Alessandro mentioned the “prune node tree“ option,perhaps in order to repair this material, I will lose a lot of hair.😭

    Also even if Thomas said No, actually there is actually a lot of options in diffeo that are more suitable for game engine than for blender ;)
