Blender to Daz bone translation
Hello! I’m aware of the Blender to Daz bone translation issue, so I setup a script that converts active pose bone translation to Daz bone orientation. It basically creates “up“ bones for each deforming bone, and then calculates the translation. Works for already posed characters.
You can run this from the Blender text editor.
If this helps, then please add the “Use Translation“ functionality to pose saving

repo owner Well, I suppose I should say thank you, but I’m not sure exactly what problem this fixes. Local bone translations are specified in different coordinate systems (the parent’s local system in DS, the bone’s own system in Blender), but I thought the plugin already took care of that, both when loading and saving poses. As long as the global setting “DAZ Orientation (Experimental)” is turned off. Or is there some other problem that I’m unaware of?

reporter I thought that the issue was still not fixed and saving poses still wasn’t saving bones translation. Just rechecked everything twice and seems like everything works good. I’m sorry for taking your time
