import_daz python errors
I’m unable to import anything from daz because I keep getting these python errors. I don’t know what any of these mean and there’s nothing online about it. Someone said to make sure all of the models are in base resolution before exporting and I did that but it doesn’t make a difference. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Please update to the 1.7.4 development version, that’s the download side menu here, also be sure to delete the old folders before installing the new ones.

repo owner I remember fixing that bug not long ago, possibly after version 1.7.3. So as Alessandro said, the dev version should work.

Where can I get the latest development version?

repo owner The dev version can be downloaded from https://bitbucket.org/Diffeomorphic/import_daz/downloads/.
However, the new stable version 4.1.0 was released recently and has the fix included, see Diffeomorphic Add-ons Version 4.1.0 Released. Specifically the daz importer can be downloaded from https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/58f6obzmh063ae9d88ugg/import_daz_v4_1_0.zip?rlkey=qnq6cu0fx4qki9rpxlu95o9h1.

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for this plugin.
I used your suggested version and it works.
Just double checking something, Do I have to export from DAZ first (DBZ) and then use the “easy import” button?
I thought it was from Blender directly over DBZ or DUF - Log in to comment
