No target meshes with faces selected when trying to transfer shape keys to newly imported model
I’ve been trying to troubleshoot the previous NoneType issue and noticed that no matter what I do, I get “No target meshes with faces selected” when I try to transfer shape keys to the new model from the old one with 1.7.4. Not happening with older models imported before I’m guessing the last patch released couple of days ago.

repo owner What might have happened is that the plugin thinks that the target mesh is non-conforming. In that case you can force the plugin to transfer shapekeys if you enabled “Non-conforming Meshes”.

reporter That worked, but I don’t get why it suddenly is like this.
-
repo owner A mesh is conforming if it is fitted to the base mesh. Appearently the Fit To property in DS determines that. With the settings below, shapekeys are transferred to the right headlight but not to the left one. I’m not sure if this really makes sense, though.

Headlight is two different geografts, so yes it makes sense that non-confomed geografts don’t get transferred.
-
repo owner Um, no, that was just an example that I manufactured. By default the “Fit to” property is set for both headlights. I changed it on the left one to confirm that that prevented shapekeys from being transferred.
