Save pose preset with MHX or Simple IK
Im big newbie pretty bad in english.
I will try to explain easly, i did a topic long time ago but when i check my “topic” it show nothing.
My plan is to modify daz animation on blender by ADDING some IK, with IK simple or MHX. (moving hand/arm or head while all rest of daz animation keep staying same)
I’m totally lost, bcs after making my modification I save pose as preset and when i important back, nothing move.
I baked animation, (bake pose to fk rig) but nothing change.
I know there is many explain, i have blender 3.6.5 and 1.7.3 diffeo.
If someone could explain really easly how to bring some ik movement into daz animation. For example : walking but while i walk, moving an arm in IK. Then save and export back on daz.

Edit : I was maybe my version is wrong, so i dl blender 4.1 and importer 1.7.4. But i don’t see anymore the case “save pose pret”

In 1.7.4 there’s a separate module for export. As for baking, each rig gets its own panel with the baking features, for mhx it is “animation > transfer ik to fk”, for simple ik it is “simple ik > snap fk animation“. I don’t think it will be easy to modify a daz animation though, unless you get a separate addon to layer animations or wait for blender 4.2. The ik rigs are better to do original animations rather than modify daz.

repo owner The daz importer has been split into several separate addons, because it grew quite big and contained a lot of tools that were probably only used by myself, if even that. The preset exporter now resides in the export_daz addon. https://bitbucket.org/Diffeomorphic/export_daz
