error about convert to widgets

I am very sorry that my English is not very good,so there may be some grammatical errors.When I try to convert face controls to widgets,the following error occurred:

    Fist I merge rigs

    then I import standard Morphs and choose what I need

    After that I convert to widgets,then the error happened and I don’t know how to resolve it

    You need to update to 4.1, it’s the download link on the left. Even so “convert to widget” only supports a few known rigs, so you get the error if the rig you’re trying to convert is not supported. The standard G81 face rig should work.

    If there’s nothing to add you can close as invalid.

    p.s. Of course you can ask Thomas to support a specific rig in this case this becomes a feature request.

    It is true that you should normally update to the latest version. However, it seems like I introduced some new bugs recently, so the latest version doesn’t work in this case. I’m too tired to do something about that tonight, will look into this again tomorrow.

    Face controls should work with the latest commit. The final convert to widgets step is unnecessary, because the widget mesh is converted to custom shapes already when the rigs are merged, provided that the option is set to Widget Controls.

    The name of the option was changed from Face Controls, because the plugin can now also handle controls, e.g. for the advanced pussy. However, in that case the widget mesh much be converted manually.

    I recommend that you use the Easy import button, with the Merge Rigs and FACS options enabled.

    I‘ve tried your solution before I submit issues.I just want to follow my teacher’s steps.He can covert face to widgets,and after that,he convert all to MHX.Then face control can be show in MHX’s custom.

    But I failed to do that. My face controls can’t show in any layers about MHX, In other words, I can‘t edit face controls in MHX.Because it is not converted. In my teacher’s blender,his face control appeas in wireframe mode.

    But in my blender,it was gray, which caused me to not be able to edit it

    I finally fixed the problem by lowering the blender version to 3.6 and the import version to 1.61.Thank to the forum.You are too enthusiastic and have provided me with many solutions。o(TヘTo)
