strange material issue with the new HD workflow
4.2.0.2229, blender 4.2
I tried to import the Kat G9 figure with golden palace and breastacular. Now something very strange happens with the materials. Both breastacular and Kat have a “body“ material in daz studio. If I export with the new workflow without the geometry editor then I get two “body-3“ materials assigned to Kat, while breastacular gets nothing.
Rendering works fine both in cycles and eevee.
This only happens exporting to HD without the geometry editor. Exporting with the geometry editor works fine. Exporting at base resolution works fine.
steps:
- in daz studio export HD without the geometry editor
- import in blender

repo owner Fixed in last commit. Now the plugin identifies geograft materials with the graft ID. This seems to be what DS is doing, because now I could remove a hack that was needed to distinguish between the two headlights materials too.
