Low poly Character
I’ve been the low poly system and I think you can improve it if you before to decimate create a vertex group with the part that you want to protect and you dont want these deform for example eyes, mouth, joints, nails, fingers, etc those special places can make a better low poly character.
Use the method collapse and add simetry x too.

repo owner Sorry for not responding to this before. You can already protect areas from being reduced by Make Faithful Lowpoly, by hiding the vertices in edit mode. Here is an example:

Verts: 8652, Edges: 15753, Faces: 7143It is not possible to protect areas from Make Quick Lowpoly, because that tool creates and applies a decimation modifier, which has no such option.
