Failed to merge rigs

The Merge Rigs function fails with some reference related error. It seems that the code added to utils.py from the commit 59a6763 causes the issue. The reference error is caused by the line ob.parent = None. Please check. It should be a easy fix. I removed that in my local environment, it works.
