add extra face bone as advanced option?

I do not know how it will work with “make all bones posable.”

if I hope to add all free posable bones for face, with recent commit May I need to use advance option?

or all extra face bone will be generate, when I “make all bones posable” without import any body pose controller?

(if it work so I do not need to use add extra face bone any more)

though I do not test with recent G8 face new controll shape etc, or morphs, but at least for G3, It need to keep extra face bones as default, which I can controll free. most of daz G3 user know, we can controll or adjust each facial bone as we need, without use offered morph.

    From what I can see “all bones posable” also makes face bones. In general it is very likely that we need all bones posable with or without extra morphs, because some bones are driven with the basic daz rig. So this makes sense to me.

    The two tools do very similar things, but Make All Bones Poseable is the more general tool, so I think it should be enough. It makes it possible to pose every bone in the face rig, because the accessible bones are not driven. Either they have driven parents on a hidden layer, or are not driven at all. But this tool is more general, because it is not limited to face bones, and more economical, because drv bones are not created for free bones. I really cannot think of a situation where you would want to use Add Extra Face Bones instead.

    So the workflow is:

    1. Import the character
    2. Add some morphs
    3. Make All Bones Poseable.
    4. Add some more morphs
    5. Make All Bones Poseable again, etc.

    And of course an additional benefit is that I only have to maintain a single tool, even if they share a lot of code.

    Thanks. if it can generate all facial bone (before with some version I could not confirm it about eyelids bone etc) so if it work so, it seems what I asked you before.

    (I asked as default, generate all facial bones, and basicl driven bone, or make it work by single button) then at that time, I suppose if user hope to separate for head only etc. but as my side, current way is OK. (do not know each user thinking)😀
