Daz to Rigify - Error messages

Issue #672 resolved
ByteC created an issue

Hi Thomas,

I’m getting several errors when converting the daz rig to rigify. The error messages contain an unknown path to a user “ryzen”, which is not existing at least at my machine. Could you please have a look on that file?

Tia-

Peter

AMD Ryzen is probably your processor, which windows apparently thinks is a user. The error messages have something to do with scale morphs, which have been working for me for quite some time so I didn’t consider them experimental any longer. Will check tonight or tomorrow.

Actually, it didn’t have anything to do with scale morphs, but happens for most body morphs. The script renames some bones to their Genesis 1 and 2 names, to make the script work with all Genesis generations. If some of the renamed bones have drivers, which happens if you have loaded body morphs, those drivers are invalidated.

I don’t think it mattered in the end, because the original daz rig is deleted anyway, but there shouldn’t be any errors in the terminal. They don’t appear anymore.

“AMD Ryzen is probably your processor“. Nope 🙂

Anyway have to dig in what is causing this behaviour. I’m working with .0541, newer builds bring up several python errors. I will create a scene from scratch and check against the latest build tomorrow evening (here we have GMT+1)
