Request for posiblity to replace shader nodes en masse
Issue #676
resolved
If it is at all possible, would it be possible to simultaneously change shader nodes for multiple surfaces simultaneously? The imported shader setup, though very good looking, does consume a fair amount of VRAM. I was hoping that there might be a method to simultaneously replace the shader setup over similar surfaces e.g. arms, legs, torso etc rather than manually deleting, and replacing the current shader setup with a new one

reporter I see. I was hoping to bulk replace shaders with another shader I found online. But testing out each node is rather frustrating. Tq anyway

Account Deleted I can recommend you converting the textures to UDIMs it works really well in my opinion and you can quickly edit nodes for the skin material

The material editor lets you change node parameters en masse. However, it doesn’t change the topology of the node tree.

Alternatively, you could make a UDIM material, and edit that in whatever way you like.
