Import animations to only selected bones does not work properly

Hello!

So i have an animation that i finished, now i want import all the facial stuff that was already made in DAZ .. i made sure to select only facial bones but when i import the animation for selected bones only it bring the whole animation and move everything.

    Tried to create a new non linear action and put the animation but still it import everything i just want the facials.

    I also made sure in the plugin to uncheck new action, so it can bring to the current action.

    Interesting i made sure to select only:

    but when i import my facial animations for those selected bones , it automatically add the legs and arms also. but me i want only facials.

    The work around is to bring facials, and then bring the body animations.

    but if you bring body animations then bring facials it won’t work.

    There is something wrong with the video, either on your side or on mine. I download a 47 Mb mp4 file, but VLC player only displays the first frame.

    Are you using the stable version or the development one? The latter tries to load missing morphs by default. Perhaps this may lead to problems if the animation contains body morphs. Does the problem persist if you turn off morphs or set Missing to Ignore?

    Hello, sorry the video it’s maybe because it’s encoded with the hevc  H.265 codec, you need to have this extension for those videos.

    Anyway i have a new one i upload it here to watch:

    i made sure to turn off morphs.

    The work around, is i import my facial FIRST, then i import the body animation then it works.

    EDIT: Forget to mention i am using the last commit.

    I figure out another work around it’s to copy paste the armature , import an action to the new armature it will bring all the animations not the selected bones but it doesnt matter, because we will copy only our selected bones from this new armature to our original.

    Also just bought an iphone can’t wait to try facecap and livelink with the plugin! instead of bringing directly my facial animation from daz

    I think what happened is that the arms were selected but on hidden layers. In that case they were still posed. This is unintuitive, so in the last commit the tool only affects bones that are both selected and on visible layers.
