Diffeomorphic Merge Toes and Body Morphs

Issue #735 resolved
Mike Hawkins created an issue

Use Diffeo to export a standard G8.1 female figure from Daz. Then:

1 Use the Easy Import option with all options OFF except Body Morphs. The body morphs (e.g. “ArmsUpDwn”) work fine.

2 In Corrections, click on Merge toes. The body morphs still work fine.

Now delete everything and:

3 Using the same exported figure, repeat 1, but with BOTH Body Morphs and Merge Toes switched on. The Body Morphs now don’t affect the mesh.

Doing 1 and 2, instead of 3, seems perfectly acceptable so I suggest simply removing Merge Toes from the Easy Import options.

Hm, things seem to work well here. Of course the body morphs that move the individual toes do nothing, but all other body morphs are working for me.

You’re right. I went back to Global settings, applied factory settings and now it works fine.

Unfortunately I have no idea what settings I was using before, so I can’t tell which one was the cause. Oh well.

    Problem solved, thanks.
