importing environment and getting floating trees (assets displaced from ground)
Hello, I am trying to import this environment https://www.daz3d.com/walking-in-the-woods
I load the preload scene asset. It looks fine in DAZ.
I save as scene. Run the export to Blender script. That all goes fine. No errors.
When I import into Blender however, all of the trees are floating (displaced from the ground)
Any ideas what a fix or workaround might be?
Thank you!

- attached ladder-2.duf
ladder with displacement

reporter I see, I didn’t notice that before, but I see it now when reviewing.
-
repo owner Seems to work now.

Commit c13b232 is great, works with all the examples so far, including the orc village and the woods. Also I get that the group instances are generated by ultrascatter pro.

Thank you Thomas for the fast fix. I believe you made a very solid support for daz instances now. If Aaron has nothing to add we may mark as resolved.

About this, it seems there’s some bug when the ladder in
is inside a group. Test scene included ladder-2.duf. Below it’s the ladder in daz studio then in blender. We see that in blender the stairs get displaced.#755I guess it’s probably what happens here too.
