Grafted gen texture missing when import (G3F)

After up-date new beta,, then import G3F with grafted gen, now it seems miss texture only about grafted gen

I do not check shader nodes etc,, but it seems lost texture only about gen.

At first I thought, it would correct after I merge gen with body, (so blender issue I thought,, )

but it still show white non texture material about gen only.

And it seems uv mapping corrupt about clothing, see my pic please.

you may see glossy map pattern with UV. then show UV as glossy.

(sorry the clothing UV tile is my mistake, I test it in daz long time ago, and forgot it,, )

then if you need more info to check what is going, tell me please.

    I see, it seems happen when I import scene,with default shader setting.

    Volumetric option = Volumetric.

    I do not think, it work well for cycles about human skin,

    then if I set it as SSS, it retrun texture for gen.

    Though I do not know if it only happen about grafted items

    @engetudouiti Please post a duf file with a minimum number of (possibly standard) assets to show the issue I’d be glad to check it. The volumetric option should not affect geografts in any way. You may want to look at the relevant discussions.

    I don’t know if this may also be relevant since Thomas decided to merge some uv maps with geografts for better handling in blender.

    I only see (at currrent) the problem, when I set volumetric, for volume, when import duf.

    it not matter, about other setting. I install daz script too. and generate new duf and json, it still show same issue about g3f gen.

    it is G3F famous adult genital, (not daz official),I forgot the shop name,

    And It worked with recent blender before, without problem, so it is new issue for me with recent betas.

    I recently seldom check daz material etc, and not check each nodes,

    (My taste change to set mat not complex, because I am playing

    mod (skyrim) often now,, then I understand, iray mat is good for static rencer, but not useful for simple animation,,^^;

    I prefer, if we can enhance eevee mat,, but it need GPU so I raelly hope Thomas will get new GPU and pray eevee .or Thomas can not check it I suppose. (actually EEVEE need more luxury machine.

    So I change mat in daz then export body and gen only.

    and now it get color, but I suppose absorb direction seems work as invert about geo grafted mat. (or invert normal?)

    I may check nodes, later… (but use blender simple SSS is easy solution for me,)

    then after merged. (Do I need to merge UV for graf item?

    I do not hope to merge all,,^^; actually I prefer to set UV layout

    for body 1001 to 100X then,

    use UV layout 1011 to 101X for genitals or grafted items. (so use V cordinate to add new UV layout )

    @engetudouiti I really need to know what’s the “famous adult genital” it may be famous for others but not for me. Both the standard G3F anatomy and all the G3F Meipe’s geografts up to date at renderotica work fine. So what do you use ?

    As for skins it’s not possible to convert iray to eevee because iray uses true volumetrics. So a sss approximation is used for eevee that may work or not depending on the skin. But this is to be expected since eevee is real time so of course it has limitations over cycles.

    then actually it cause issue, and I can suspect, the usage (convert way) is wrong about volume shader. so if you can not find problem, the conversion only work for typical setting.

    then it not cover each options which daz iray offer.

    It seems I got it. The NGV7 uses LIE instead of shells. The issue is that a LIE is used to drive the top coat weight and with bsdf nodes the plugin misses a 0.1 factor in this case. See #29. This doesn’t happen with the sss skin because in this case the principled clearcoat is used. Also the top coat for bsdf nodes is not excellent I still have to work on it.

    This has nothing to do with the volumetric skin anyway, it is a top coat issue. Below the NGV7 in cycles with the volumetric skin and the top coat fixed.
