Twist bone direction

Hi! I was trying to follow this Uefy tutorial to convert the Rigify rig to UE4 Mannequin rig.

The tutorial is using the dazToBlender bridge so I followed along the first time and it works in UE.

But since I like diffeo more 😉 , so I tried second time to use diffeo to easy import Daz rig then do the conversion again as the tutorial.

One thing I notice is that the twist bone directions for the right side limbs are a bit different. (13:20)

Though I think you guys don’t really use Unreal, may I know whether this could potentially be a problem for retargeting other animations in Blender?

    Twist bones don’t come into play for retargeting to game engines. Only bend bones are considered.
