Tongue IK

Hi there!
I wonder, is it possible to add IK to the Rigify tongue?
It would be great with a few controllers to control the tip bend and the curvature in general.

    There is some kind of support for tongue ik now, both for mhx and rigify (they share the same code). It probably needs to be tweaked, though. In particular, I haven’t figured out how to deal with stretching yet.

    Thank you very much for sharing! I’ll give them a look I guess it’s time to learn something new 😃

    And of course, thanks Thomas for the update, it works!
    About the length I found a workaround for now, with Mustard Tool it’s possible to create an IK spline with controllers on the selected bones, so it’s possible to stretch the tongue!

    Anyway, that tool didn’t work before your update so, thanks again!

    I can't figure out, to enable Tongue IK (Rigify) and FACS Units (same import Units). I’m always getting dependency cycles. The Tongue IK firstly go way too far (down to Spin 007). However, restricting it only to 3 steps will not help either. Most likely due to the tongue drivers? I’m not good at rigging so that’s just a guess…

    I tried to look it up in the online documentation. But, it doesn’t mention this Tongue IK Rigify-option at all. My gut feeling tells me, that’s due to the drivers on tongue02 and tongue03? So Tongue Ik + FACS Units is not a option at all?
